George has been a fan of horse racing since he was a young man. By 2000, he was North American harness racing's owner to reach 50 wins in the shortest period of time, on his way to 61 total standardbred wins.
In 2010, George turned to owning thoroughbred horses and regularly enters races at Santa Anita, Del Mar and Los Alamitos.
